Dose Rate Monitors
We offer a complete range of radiation monitoring equipment. The most suitable radiation monitor will have the following characteristics: It should have a uniform response to all types and energies of radiation. Its response should be independent of its orientation relative to the radiation. It should have a response that is not affected by the dose rate. It should be capable of measuring a wide range of dose or dose rates. It should be portable and robust. Typically, a balance of these characteristics is achieved appropriate to the application. Personal dosimetry is essential to safe working. A suggested combination for a two man radiography team is one radiation monitor, with one in reserve for emergencies. Each radiographer would also be issued with a direct read personal dosimeter such as the SV Bleeper and also an audio-visual bleeper such as the Roffey Mk III.
Nd1000S Radiation Monitor
The ND1000s radiation monitor is a very robust monitor that is simple to use.
The Ramgene MkII is designed for work in extreme conditions as both a dose rate monitor and contamination monitor.
